Buttons, Themes, Movies, Music
A special feature of Ashampoo Movie Menu is the customization of your menu. You can not only choose from different menu themes, but you can also customize your menu with shapes, images etc on the right-hand side of the editor and also with buttons, themes, movie or music (see red box).
Buttons
Buttons can be added to a menu for navigational purposes and other functions. You can for example add functions like play video to a button. With the remote control of your player or your mouse (if you play the menu on your PC) you can select the buttons with their corresponding functions. For example: You’d like to add a button to your menu that has the function to go one step back in the menu. Click on the tab Buttons on the right (see image below). There you can choose from a variety of buttons that cover the most common functions. There you’ll also find the button Previous which you can select by double clicking.
Then the button appears in the editor window and can be dragged into the right position with a pressed mouse key. This way all buttons (also the ones that already in the menu by default) can be dragged into the desired position. If you click on one of the squares (see red circle) at the border of the button you can also change the size of the button by dragging with pressed mouse button.
After you placed the buttons on the menu at your desired position, you can still change the function of the button or add a function, if there wasn’t a default. Just double click on the button. To learn more about how to use and edit buttons go here.
Themes
What are themes? Themes are graphics or animations that make the menu more interesting, appealing and colorful. Therefore you can choose from a wide range of themes – from rather plain graphics for business / respectable projects to rather complex, emotional and colorful animations.
What’s a theme made of?
Usually a theme is made of a main menu page and one scenes page (see red box). On the main menu page you’ll find a Play button to play the video(s) and a link to the scenes page. On the scenes page you’ll find the videos that are on your disc. From there you can start each video separately.
Movies
Under Movies you’ll find all films of your current project. If you’d like to additionally display a video in your menu, that’s no problem. Open the tab Movies (see picture above), select the desired movie by double-clicking on it. Then the movie appear in your menu in the editor window on the left. There you can position it in the right place, change its size etc.
Music
