Encoding
Now your project is encoded, this means that it will formatted to fit on a DVD or Blu-ray Disc. You can see the what the software is currently working on and which tasks have already been finished or not yet started. There are two categories: Movie/Slideshow (those are the movies you added to your project) and Menu pages (those are the menus you created for your disc). The process bar below shows you how long the process is still going to take.
If it takes a while… The higher the resolution and the length of the video(s), the longer the encoding will take. For example: When you produce a Full HD Blu-ray Disc in the European PAL format for each second 24 pictures with a resolution of 1920×1080 have to be processed. This performance needs a certain processing time with an optimized encoding process like in this software.
